What an EXCELLENT Chapter BBQ!

Today's BBQ was just what one hopes for: a great collection of chapter members, friends, and guests. Coupled with pure blue skies and temps in the seventies. Oh, and a dash of homebuilt airplanes and grilled burgers. So went the EAA Chapter 1440 BBQ. It was the perfect use of our dues :) Here's some pics. Enjoy! And see you next month at the meeting!

September 16, 2012 BBQ

EAA Chapter 1440 is hosting our annual BBQ at Paine Field on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 11-3. We'll have the BBQ set up in Rob Kochman's hangar. This is free (as in your dues paid for this) food.

Guests are welcome (and also free), but we ask that everyone RSVP using this survey.

The BBQ is always a hit, for good reason. Don't miss it!

Apr 14 -- Visit to Russell Williams' Projects

Wow, what a collection of airplane restoration projects. Russell Williams was kind enough to open up his hangar -- and arrange for other hangars to be open -- in order that we could see the amazing airplanes under restoration. Russell showed us a Parakeet that he is working on (wings at the moment), and a St. Louis Cardinal that is also under restoration right now.

Then there were the Ryan, the Rearwin, Dart, and other planes that he has. Not to mention the other hangars.

Thanks Russell!!!
